Paul & Linda Rook Loose Their Motorhome To Fire

“Everyone should make an inventory of what they have and insure it all.”

Watching your own motorhome burn to the ground can be a frightening
experience Paul and Linda Rook can attest to. On a June morning Linda
awoke in the middle of the night to an acrid smell within the couple’s RV.
At first, she and Paul thought their computer printer was on fire, but a closer
investigation showed that the entire back section of their motorhome was aflame.
Luckily, the Rooks and their dog were able to escape, but only with their nightclothes and
one blanket. “We couldn’t save anything,” Linda said. “Other people in the campground had
to give us clothing.”

Even furthering the Rooks’ difficulties, the campground they were staying in was located in
Banff, Alberta Canada, and the two had just lost all their means of identification. The local fire
department with the help of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police put Paul and Linda in-touch
with the proper authorities.

Since the next day fell on Sunday the couple had little hope of reaching anyone at Vista
Group Insurance. But, according to Linda, less than an hour passed before a Vista Group
agent returned her call with a phone number for claims. Over the next several days, the same
agent telephoned the Rooks regularly to check on them, eventually arranging for a rental RV.

Tree Falls On Larry & Loretta McCoy’s Motorhome Missing Their
Tow Vehicle

When Larry and Loretta McCoy opted to insure their motorhome and tow vehicle, they couldn’t have known how soon Vista Group would have to come to their rescue. An RV tour to Canada ended abruptly when a tree fell on their coach. Instead of photographing polar bears, they found themselves filing a damage claim. “It had been a great experience until the tree episode,” Larry said from the couple’s home in Arizona.

The McCoys are still in the midst of the insurance claims process and say they have been pleased with Vista Group’s service. The cost of the policy also delighted the two when they initially shopped for insurance. According to Larry, Vista’s policies are “more inexpensive” than other companies they had researched. In addition, Vista Group offers a five percent discount for members of a camping club they belong to.

Brother’s Advice Saves Man 42% On His Motorhome Insurance

Thomas Donovan of Washington State decided to purchase his RV policy from Vista Group
Insurance because his brother owned a Vista Group policy and loved it. “That was good
enough for me,” Donovan said.
His previous insurance company didn’t offer the coverage he needed for his 36-foot
motorhome that he uses to visit family members in the Northwest. Best of all he has saved
42 percent with Vista Group’s rates. “I’m happy with Vista Group,” Donovan said, “They offer
excellent service, too.”
